WHO WE ARE

 Troy Kids consists of our ministries to children from newborn babies to 6th grade.  Regardless of age, our aim is to create environments in which children can lovingly be taught how to love God, one another, and the world.  

LOGISTICS

All children must be checked-in via two laptops in the CHHS Cafeteria entrance. A member of our leadership team will be there to help. Newborn through kindergarten children may be head to Troy Kids just before service as early as 9:45. 1st- 6th grade children will sit with their guardian for the music portion of worship. There will be a prompt just before the sermon for your children to meet our leadership at the door to walk to Troy Kids. All guardians are asked to go directly to the Troy Kids Area (CHHS Library) directly after worship to pick up their child. 

FORMAT 

Your child will enjoy a variety of fun activities. We separate children by age and rotate through stations. From snack, crafts, games, and Bible time our leadership will focus on the key concepts of that day’s lesson. 

CURRICULUM 

All of our curriculum is developed in house by our leadership. We develop lessons that coincide with the sermons taught in the service that day. Our heart in this is to create an opportunity for family dialogue after service. 

SAFETY

All of our volunteers are trained, background checked, and under the oversight of our Team Lead, Lesley Parrish, who is a health care professional. We also have the added security of cameras on the school campus. Only one monitored entrance is accessible for the entirety of Troy Kids programming.
